She was born at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, NY, on February 26, 1935, the daughter of Peter Tiffany and Madeline Carney. In addition to her parents, Marylin was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Earl Missel of 14 years; her second husband of 29 years, Thomas Eugene Haberstro; and her granddaughter, Ashley Crooks.
Marylin is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Jeanette Missel, Dennis Missel and Lucelle Apolinario, and Keith and Ellen Missel. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and her special friends, Linda Sy and Kelly Farley.
Marylin will be remembered by many extended family members and friends from theWELLbuffalo, Millgrove Campus where she served as a greeter and sang in the choir during the past 47 years. Most recently, Marylin served in the Widow’s ministry, Mission committee and with the Clothing Closet “gang” who will deeply miss her.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, at theWELLbuffalo, Millgrove Campus, on Genesee Street in Alden, NY, with Pastor Keith Missel officiating. Internment services for family and special friends will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Main St., Buffalo, NY at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 21.
