Robert D. “Bob” Manning II, of Angola, NY entered into rest on February 15, 2025 at age 68. Beloved husband of 37 years to Joanne (nee McClure) Manning; devoted father of Dr. Jessica (Dr. Jacob) Pignone and Melissa Ann Manning; adored grandfather of Rowan and Emma Rose; loving son of the late Robert and Joan (nee Wagner) Manning; dear brother of Mary (Mark) Matthews; cherished uncle Maxwell Matthews and godfather Dr. Christian (Dr. Kristiana) Matthews and Bridget Ellen (Adam) Clark; also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and Island, lake, boating, hunting and Curbell friends. Bob is joining his dear friend, the late Dr. David Bartels. No prior visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, NY 14218 on Saturday (March 1, 2025) at 10:30am. Please assemble at church. Private interment WNY National Cemetery. Mr. Manning was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Flowers gratefully declined.
