Thomas F. Gaffney

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Thomas "Tom" Francis Gaffney, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, who left us on March 22, 2025 at the age of 76. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.

Tom was born on April 24, 1948 to Claude and Barbara (nee Becker) Gaffney. He was a devoted husband to Loretta (nee Lenhart) Gaffney for forty two years; proud father of Logan (Jenna Kohnke) Gaffney; cherished grandfather of Vivienne, Jack and Leo Gaffney who filled his heart with joy; dear brother of Charles (late Sandie) Gaffney, Mary Kemp, Barbie (Joe) Pilarski, Roseann (Bob) Marchenese, late Rita (late Joe) Rimmer and late Shirley Stephenson. His family brought immense happiness to his life. He will deeply missed by all of his extended family, friends and loved ones.

Throughout his life Tom was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to those he loved. His legacy will live on through his family, who will continue to carry forward the values he instilled in them.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Danzer, Dengler, Roberts Funeral Home at 5363 Genesee St, Bowmansville, NY on Thursday March 27 from 3 - 7PM to share memories of Tom and to honor a life well lived. Burial will be held privately at Western New York National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a veterans charity of your choice in Tom's memory.

He will forever be remembered with love and his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
