Alfred E. Larson

Born in Salisbury, NC he was the son of the late Martin and Tessie (Grubb) Larson.

He was a stone cutter for the former C. W. Kline, Boyertown and last working for Tarentino & Sons, Quakertown. He was a merchant marine during WWII; a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Niantic; a member of Gilbertsville Fire Company and a lifetime member of the Pottstown Quoit Club.

Alfred is survived by two sons, Eric Larson of Lewes, DE and Keith Larson of Olathe, Kansas; four grandchildren, William, Kurtis, Tyler and Karley.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 9:30 a.m., at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. The Reverend Richard Mathisen will officiate.

A viewing will be Friday, September 24, 2010 between 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, PA 19504.
