Benjamin B. Keppel III

Born in Summit, NJ, September 29, 1944 he was a son of the late Lillian (McConneghey) and Benjamin B. Keppel, Jr.

Benjamin was the owner and operator of Keppel Hardware in North Plainfield, NJ. Later he worked as an Industrial Supply Manager for many years. Ben enjoyed woodworking after his retirement as well as spending time with his two dogs, Missy and Lady.

He proudly served in the U.S Marine Corps.

Benjamin is survived by his children, James D. husband of Lynn Keppel of Lafayette, CA. Christine L. wife of Jeffrey Dragan of Oley, Suzanne D. wife of Arthur Gilmore of Blandon, Benjamin B. IV husband of Amie Keppel of Oley and Scott L. husband of Keri Keppel of Manassas, VA. and siblings, Isabel Keppel, Marilou Allgor, Patrick Keppel and Joseph Keppel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA 19512 on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM.

Friends and family may call Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lutheran Home of Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton, PA 19562

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
