I got to know Bruce through the Keystone Camp of Boyertown at the age of 12. Bruce , my father and I and the other members spent many a deer season together at the cabin. Many years Bruce would do the cooking and we could always count on a wonderful hot meal of turkey or ham at the end of a cold day. We would play small stakes poker and have a beer together at days end and tell stories of the days happenings. For many years Bruce served as Treasurer of the club and his financial records were very well kept and explained with detailed notes. Bruce was the last of the original 10 members and it is very sad to see the end of an Era. He was a great friend and fellow hunter and will be greatly missed. We will hold fast to all the good memories of his life with us. We pray that God will bless his family with peace and grace in this time of sorrow.
