Born on August 5, 1940 in Corning, PA, he was the son of the late Henry and Verna (Heistand) Moll. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic, quiet kindness, and an appreciation for the simple things in life.
He worked as a mason and the structures he helped build stand today as quiet reminders of his skill and commitment to doing a job right. He also managed a newspaper route that delivered to hundreds of residences. Long before most people started their day, he was already out on the road making sure neighbors had their morning paper. Later in his career, he enjoyed working as an animal caretaker on a horse farm. He had a natural patience with animals and spent his days tending to horses, goats, and sheep, forming a special bond with the animals under his care.
Carl was a longtime fan of “old country” music, especially songs that told a good story. He also enjoyed NASCAR races, watching nature documentaries, and relaxing outside on his deck. From time to time, if the music was right, friends and family may have even caught a glimpse of him dancing the Polka.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Jeanette (Stauffer) and his children, Ricky Moll of Perkiomenville and Troy Moll, wife Marianne, of Boyertown. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Betty Miller, and brothers Henry, Paul, and James Moll.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 beginning at 10:00am at Linwood Ott Funeral Home, 111 N. Reading Avenue, Boyertown Pa, 19512. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 11:00am. Interment will take place at Shepherd of the Hills Cemetery, Bechtelsville Pa.
