

Charles Arthur Lesher, age 90, of East Earl, PA, husband of Rose Marie (Irvin), passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Montgomery County, PA, he was the last surviving son of John W. Lesher and Dorothy Mae (Reichenbach) Lesher.
Charles served in the US Navy being stationed in Bermuda.
When he was a young man, he apprenticed in radio repair at a local business. He then went to work for Sears, Roebuck & Co in TV & Radio repair, then worked as a forklift operator before his retirement from Sears after 30 years of service. During this time, Charles also served as a Police Officer and Constable for Perkiomen Township in Montgomery County.
Charles enjoyed camping and traveling in his motorhome and visited many states over the years. He enjoyed classic country music, loved animals, particularly dogs and had a fondness for dachshunds.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by his daughters: Deborah "Debbie" Ann, wife of Barry Lupacckino, East Earl and Sherry Lynn, wife of Darrell G. Dise, Gilbertsville. Grandchildren: Barry A. Lupacckino Jr, Eric Lupacckino, Krista M. Guldin and Chadrick G. Frankhouser. Great Grandchildren: Lily Guldin, Sullivan Lupacckino, Alexander Forney and Olivia Frankhouser. He is predeceased by his brothers John W. Jr., and George W. Sr.
Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512 on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Old Goschenhoppen Church Cemetery, Woxall, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Charles' name to your local animal shelter or rescue.
