Born in Norristown. She was the daughter of the late Violet and William Engle.
Cynthia served as aide on a bus for the physically challenged and handicapped for many years.
She was a “Past Worthy Matron” of the Order of the Eastern Star attending Moorestown - Maple Shade, Armistice Chapter #164, District 38, which is now known as Mount Holly Chapter 147, District 38.
Cynthia is survived by her husband Clayton J. Shantz, Sr., and children, Clayton J. Shantz, Jr. of Lindenwold, NJ., Christine M. Shantz of Norristown, PA., Sharon M. Shantz of Ocala, FL. and William A. Shantz of Aiea, HI. Her daughter who passed away in April 2014, Shirley Ann Shantz. Siblings, Christine, Colleen, and Roger. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
