Daniel George Frey Ritter

Born in Boyertown, he was the son of the Late Norman H. and Mary R. (Frey) Ritter. He was a 1960 Graduate of Boyertown High School and a 1964 Graduate of Albright College.

Dan worked in the Accounting Department of AT&T for 30 years retiring in 1995. He also worked in Accounting at Silicon Cert, LTD for 14 years.

Dan served as Part-time Colebrookdale Township Secretary for 10 years and served as a Township Commissioner for two terms. He loved to Fish, Read, Hike, Travel and spend time with his Family and Grandchildren.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bechtelsville where he served on Church Council and numerous committees. He was a Life Member of the Boyertown Rod & Gun Club.

Dan was active in the Boyertown American Legion Baseball program where he served on the Board of Directors and was Chairperson on the Ticket Committee for many years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughters Lori L, wife of Victor Lessoff of North Carolina; Sherri A. wife of Brian Schaeffer of Harleysville; Cindi L. wife of Peter Esz of Boyertown. Grandchildren Daniel and Jacqueline Lessoff, Tyler and Chandler Schaeffer husband of Nyssa Widmann, and Nicholas and Matthew Esz, Also One Great Granddaughter Avacyn Schaeffer.

He was predeceased by Brothers Larry and Norman Ritter and Half Brothers Richard Houck, Robert Rothenberger, Clyde Underkoffler.

A Meet & Greet will be held on Friday August 29th from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 1749 South Main St. Bechtelsville, PA 19505. The Funeral Service, Officiated by Rev. Dr. Eugene C. Zaiser will be held at 11:00 AM with a Luncheon to follow.
