Doris G. Downer Hallman

Born in Pottstown she was the daughter of the late Alice (Reppert) and Irwin Downer.

Doris was a 1947 graduate of Boyertown High School. She was a line worker for Federal Mogul, Boyertown formerly Tung-sol for 39 years retiring in 1990. She was a sports enthusiast at local sports events and loved to travel. She especially loved her dog, Porky.

She is survived by three sons, Todd V., husband of Karen L. (Zuk) Hallman of Beatrice, Nebraska, Bruce A., husband of Sue L. (Speilman) Hallman of Boyertown and William S., husband of Stephanie L. (Butlers) Hallman of Exeter Township; two brothers, Charles Downer of Oley and Timothy Downer of Boyertown; six grandchildren, Jenny, Brock, Tyler, Trevor, Amber and Justin and two great-grandsons, Logan and Brent. She predeceased by her two sisters, Anna and Helen and a brother, Kenny.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. The Reverend John G. Pearson will officiate.

A viewing will be Monday between 9:30 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown.
