Edwin F. Wolf

Born in Earl Township, Berks County, PA he was the son of the late Hannah (Rhoads) and Paul Wolf.

Eddie was a 1945 graduate of Boyertown Area High School. He was a WWII Army Veteran. A member of the Bechtelsville Fire Company and the American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, hunting, fishing and was an avid sports fan. He retired on August 1, 1989, after working for 41 years in the plastic department of Firestone Tire and Rubber, which then became Occidental.

Surviving with his wife Arlene, of 60 years (Married March 1, 1952) are four daughters, Joan Angstadt of Boyertown, Marjorie, wife of Gary Brown of Queen Creek, AZ, Gloria Hillibush fiancé of Stewart Kanavins of Reading, Doris, wife of Randall Schmoyer of Reading; a son, Francis, husband of Tina Wolf of Bechtelsville; grandchildren; Diane Kriebel, Kira and Stephanie Brown, Mark and Brian Swavely, Glen, husband of Lisa Swavely, Jarad, husband of Lindsey Brown, Todd, husband of Nicole Hillibush, Brandon, husband of Lindsey Brown, Jason, husband of Tracie Wolf, Joshua and Jeffrey Wolf and 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great granddaughters. He was predeceased by a sister, Anna Szilli and four brothers, Harry, Paul, William and Ernest Wolf.

A viewing will be Thursday, October 25, 2012 between 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown. Reverend Robert R. Mitchell, Jr. will officiate.

Burial will be at Limerick Garden of Memories.
