Eleanor B. Lentz

Eleanor was born in Salford Station PA, on August 17, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Clara Moyer. She is survived by her loving family husband George D. Lentz, son Barry Lentz & wife Donna & daughter Bonne Lynn Fuller, 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and sister Jean Groff. She was preceded by her sister Virginia Claire Moyer McGowan.

Eleanor grew up in Salford Station where her father ran a thriving hotel. She played the guitar and banjo on the radio with her sister Jean, they were known as the “Stringlets”.

Eleanor graduated from Lansdale School of Business and worked as a bank teller, later owned and operated a grocery store and retired from Leeds and Northrup in North Wales.

A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held at a later date.
