Born in Mertztown, Rockland Twp. She was the last surviving child of Josephine A. (Szilli) and Francis Kreiser.
In her younger years she worked in knitting mills and waitressing. Later she worked for Tung Sol where she met her husband whom she remained married to for 60 plus years , till his death. She also worked for the family at Aston’s Treat in Gilbertsville in the 1960’s. She and her husband Jim went into business purchashing Hickory Park in the 1970’s.
Elizabeth was a member of St.Columbkill’s Church 200 Indian Springs Rd. Boyertown, PA. 19512. Through the church she was a member of the Golden Age Club and the Advisory Committee.
She is survived by her sons, James J. Aston, Jr. of Gilbertsville and Thomas A. husband of Suzana Aston of Barto. Her four grand children (Nichole Aston , Jack Aston, Kayla Girard and Stefani Atanasovska) and great grandson Maxwell. A sister in law Barbara widow of Sonny Kreiser of Oley.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkill’s Church on Wednesday September 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
Family and friends may call at church Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Keelor’s Union Cemetery in Obelisk, PA.
