Elmer Paul Hilbert Sr.

Born in Pennsylvania. He was a son of the late Edith and Paul Hilbert.

Elmer was employed as a farmer in his younger years and later after the service he was employed as a truck driver for West Motor Freight for over 48 years until his retirement.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Elmer was a member of the Boyertown Senior Center.

He is survived by his children, Elmer P., Jr. husband of Vicki Hilbert of Boyertown. Richard D. Hilbert of Boyertown, Randal S. Hilbert of Pottstown, Roy E. Hilbert of Harrisburg, Larry W. Hilbert of Boyertown and Jimmy Lee Hilbert of Boyertown. He is survived by 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Siblings Elva, Oscar, Catherine, Julie, Sally also survive him. He is predeceased by an infant son, Chris Hilbert.

A viewing will be held at Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home Inc., 111 N Reading Ave, Boyertown, PA 19512, on Tuesday July 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Hill Church Cemetery in Boyertown, PA, on July 14, 2026.
