Ernest "Ernie" B. Christman Sr.

Ernest “Ernie” B. Christman, Sr., 70, has passed away peacefully in his home on Monday May 28, 2018. He was the loving husband of Denise L. (Dries) Christman, of Palm, for 35 years, a caring Father, Uncle, Pappy, Brother and Friend.

Born in Hatfield, he was the son of the late Ruby L. (Boyer) Dippolito and John M. & Barbara (Oster) Christman, Sr.

He was a 1965 graduate of North Penn High School.

He was employed as a Machinist for B & G Manufacturing, in Hatfield, for many years.

Ernie served in the US Marine Corp in Vietnam from 1966-1969.

He enjoyed going to the gym to socialize with friends, fishing and going to car shows to show off his 1955 “PURPLE” Ford pickup. He lived life to the fullest, had a great sense of humor and never let anything slow him down.

Ernie is survived by his children, Ernest B. Jr. husband of Lisa Christman of Inverness, FL. Michael J. husband of Christie Christman of Levittown. Timothy S. husband of Julie Christman of Levittown. Vanessa L. wife of Paul R. Effrig III of Macungie. Jessica M. Christman companion of Ronald L. Reith, Jr. of Quakertown. Siblings, Barbara Calverley, Jean Heckman, Jo-Ann Kelley, John Christman, Jr. and Alan Christman. Grandchildren, Amber Marshall, Gavin Christman, Olivia Christman, A.J. Christman, Dylan Litten, Hailey Christman, Alexis Christman, Sebastian Effrig, Chayse Yerkes, Paityn Yerkes and Kennedy Reith.

A Celebration of Life will be observed at a later date.
