

Esther M. Jackson, 94 of Boyertown, PA, formerly of Pottstown, passed away on April 10, 2013 in the home of her daughter with whom she resided. She is the Widow of the late Irving Pratt Jackson and were married 65 loving years.
Born in Pine Forge, PA, she was the only daughter of the late Bertha A. (Weidner) and Earl M. Dengler. She graduated from Amity H.S.
She is survived by her loving family: sons, Malcolm E. Jackson of New Albany, Roger I. Jackson, husband of Karen of New Holland; daughters, Cheryl A. Ux, wife of Roger Ux of Boyertown and Kathy L. Jackson, companion of Charles A. Campbell III. Esther is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her quiet strong ways were an inspiration to us all. Esther was proficient in needlework and quilting. She enjoyed a good challenge and loved cryptograms and puzzles. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pottstown PA
While raising her family she was active in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, church, and school PTA's. After Irving's retirement they enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida and buying and selling antiques.
Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA 19512 on Tuesday April 16, 2013 at 11:30 am with Rev. John Smolik officiating. She will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetary in Boyertown, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
