Eugene R. “Dick” Rothenberger, 76, of Boyertown. Husband of the late Marsha E. (Kern) Rothenberger. Passed away in Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born in New Berlinville. He was a son of the late Marguerite (Nester) and Lester H. Rothenberger.

Eugene worked as a Supervisor at the Eastern Foundry for over 40 years.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved being at the cabin in the mountains. He was a long time member of the Pike Twp. Sportsman Association. He was also a life member of the Liberty Fire Company.

Eugene is survived by his children, Brenda E. wife of Joseph Allen of Coopersburg. Jan M. wife of John L. Winchester of Bechtelsville and E. Richard husband of Cindy Rothenberger of Boyertown. And a step-daughter Monica Anderson and her son Tyler. A sister, Jane S. wife of Thomas D. Borcher of Boyertown. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Caitlin Brock, Christopher Brock, Donnelle wife of Brian Hiltner, Nicole Winchester wife of Anthony Mims, Courtney Winchester and Stephen Winchester.

Funeral Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA. 19512 On Tuesday September 18, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

Interment will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
