Born in Pinegrove, he was a son of the late Florence (Mohl) and Clarence Ketner.
He was employed as a farm manager for James & Elliott Farms for 12 years. He was also owner and operator of K & W Mobile Grinding for 30 years until his retirement.
Surviving with his wife, Caroline, Franklin is also survived by his daughter, Beverly A., wife of Timothy R. Matthews Sr., of Boyertown; grandsons, Timothy R. Matthews Jr., of Exeter Twp. and Ryan M. Matthews of Shillington; and a sister, Gladys Krause of Redlands, CA
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA.
Relatives and friends may call Wednesday between 10 - 11 a.m. in the mausoleum.
Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories.
