Gloria Elaine Webster

Gloria E. Webster, 88, wife of the late George W. “Web” Webster, passed away peacefully on April 9 at Pottstown Skilled Nursing. Born in Alsace Township, she was the daughter of Marion L. and Lillie (Swoyer) Yoder.

Gloria earned her GED from Amity High School and completed a secretarial course at Landsdale School of Business. She was an active member of Good Shepherd UCC, Boyertown, where she enjoyed singing and teaching adult Sunday School. Gloria had a love for nature and the outdoors, especially birdwatching. She had a special affection for her pets, Penny, Felix and Oscar.

Gloria was a passionate reader, enjoying various books and newspapers with a cup of tea. She liked to write, draw and listen to country music, often going out dancing with Web. She was highly skilled at bowling and hosted many vibrant outdoor picnics, bringing family and friends together.

Gloria is survived by her six children; Joseph, husband of Kathy, Daniel, Kenneth, husband of Joanne, Shirley, wife of Patty, Timothy, and Robert, husband of Chrissy. Gloria had five grandchildren; Michael, husband of Shannon, Andrew, Laura, wife of Paul, Wyatt and Ayden. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Barrett.

Viewing with family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 beginning at 10:00am at Good Shepherd United Church, 35 W. Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown Pa 19512, followed by a funeral service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Pottstown Cemetery.
