Herbert S. Johnson

Born in Boyertown, PA he was the last surviving son of Addie M. (Kulp) and Herbert L. Johnson.

Herbert was employed by Mutter’s Pretzels for over 55 years as a Salesman retiring in 1983.

He was a Member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boyertown.

Herbert served in the US Army during WWII in the 159th Infantry Division in the Pacific Theater, and he was a life member of the Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Company.

He is survived by his daughter, Ann L. wife of David A. Haas of Boyertown; a son, Dale A. husband of Cheryl L. Johnson of Whitmore Lake, MI. Herbert is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his twin brother Henry W. Johnson.

Memorial services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 N. Reading Ave. Boyertown, PA., Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11:00 AM.

Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
