Born in Pikeville, KY. He was a son of the late Beulah F. (Litteral) and Clyde M. Childers.
James worked in trucking distribution in various positions for over 40 years until his retirement.
He served in the U.S. Air force in Germany from 1954 to 1958.
James enjoyed his new life at Arcadia at Limerick Pointe in his later years. Enjoying the activities and being part of their community.
He is survived by his daughter Stacey L. Morrison and his caregiver Kerry Clay both of Royersford. He is also survived by two Fur Grandchildren, Lucy and Tallie.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
