Janet E. Groves

Born in Pottstown. She was the only child of Effie (Houck) and Willis Hetrick.

She worked as a Teachers Aid for the New Hanover School District and a Sales Clerk for Newbury’s Store.

Janet was a member of Falkner Swamp United Church of Christ

Gilbertsville, PA. and also served as a custodian at the church.

She is survived by her children, Richard S. Groves husband of Linda Rex of Pottstown, Evelyn P. wife of Terry Lee Schwenk of Pottstown. Grandchildren, Sarah S. wife of Jared P. Goughnour of Harrisburg, Rachael R. wife of Aaron L. Connolly of Pottstown, Ric C.W. Rex-Groves of NYC and Luke R. Schwenk of Pottstown. Great granddaughter, Moyra E. Goughnour of Harrisburg. Janet is also survived by her longtime companion, Norman R. Reinert with whom she resided.

Memorial Services will be held at Falkner Swamp UCC, 2077 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
