Joan K. Haas

Born in Boyertown, PA she was the daughter of the late Helen (Stalter) and Fred Koons.

She was a 1952 graduate of Boyertown High School and worked for many years on the family farm.

Joan is a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Douglassville, PA.

She is survived by her husband, Warren; brothers, Fred "Fritz" Koons of Woodchoppertown and Robert Koons of Phoenix, AZ and also may her nieces and nephews and their families.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 1312 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA .

Relatives and friends may call Friday between 12 - 1 p.m. at the church.

Inurnment will be in St. Paul's Church Cemetery, Douglassville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joan's Memory to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund, 1312 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518.
