Born in Darby, PA. He was the last surviving child of Usine (Richter) and Joseph Carr.
Joseph was last employed at Unisys where he worked for many years. Previously he served in the US army for over 20 years until he retired from the service.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph D. husband of Kristen Carr of Collegeville, Steven D. Carr of Pottstown and Robert J. husband of Jill Carr of Pottstown. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren survive him. He is predeceased by his sister Usine Cheezum in 2021.
Funeral Services will be held at the Limerick Garden of Memories Chapel of the Good Shepherd 44 Swamp Pike. Limerick, PA 19468. On Tuesday March 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
Family and friends may call at the Chapel tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
Burial will be in the cemetery.
