Erica and family, I'm so saddened to hear of the passing of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother - my friend and neighbor. I have fond memories of "Julie" as we affectionately referred to her in our own twisted up, Pennsylvania Dutch version of Julia! Growing up in Woodchoppertown, I'd often walk my dog up the road toward her house and if she were outside, we'd always greet each other and catch up for a bit. If she drove by the house, she'd toot the horn and wave. She was always feeding birds, fixing her flowerbeds or tending to her cats and kittens. Her love of animals, flowers and gardening I remember most. She was a fixture, for me, in our neighborhood. I'm sure this has been a tough week for you all. My hope is that you find some peace and comfort in knowing how much others appreciated her! Take care, - Dana Pyne
