It is about to be our first holiday without you here with us.  I know it is going to be very hard on Cindy.  I am glad she is not going to be alone on Thanksgiving.  I would have joined her if she would have been alone.  Thank you for staying with us for so many years after we lost dad.  I've missed him every day since he left and now you are included in those thoughts.  I think of you, dad and Jim every day, several times a day.  I miss all of you and I also love you all.  Hopefully you are all together for the holiday.

Mom, today is seven months since you left us. I miss you so much. I still haven't been able to except that your gone. I think it's so hard because I live down here in Florida. If I still lived in Pa I would be stopping at your house and of course you wouldn't be there and it would finally make me except it. I still want to call you like I use to and make sure your ok or what you were up to. I miss hearing your voice. Please tell daddy I love and miss him too. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜❤️

It's almost Thanksgiving time I really miss you Mom could have swore I heard your TV the other night coming through the floor actually went down the check with the TV was on.... You don't know how much I really miss you I'm glad you're with daddy and I know that you're happy thank you for coming and visiting me I really appreciate it I love you have fun with all the family I'll be talking to you soon I just needed to tell you how much I miss you I love you so good night

Mom, meet you great great grand son Carl Franklin Walker 1111.  He was born on Sept 22nd due to a head on car accident they were in and he had to be taken from his mommy. He has been fighting for his life ever since. He has severe brain damage, excess spinal fluid and bleeding on the brain. Originally he wasn't breathing on his on and his organs weren't working on their on and he fought hard and they all started working on their own. Now he's back on oxygen and he's on morphine for his pain.  Mom can you and dad work together and take his pain away. I have called him Peanut. He will never walk or talk. I know if he doesn't make it he will be running and playing up in Heaven with Angel little baby boy and they will be talking up a storm.  I just wanted you and daddy to meet him and hope you can take his pain away.

I miss you so much mom. I love you. A dragonfly sat beside me today. I talked to it for a while before it flew away. The colors were so beautiful.  It had to be you.

Mom, I still feel like this is all a dream. We will be coming up home to visit in about three weeks and I keep thinking I'm going to see you. I look at your picture and think this isn't real. I don't understand why I'm having a hard time excepting this unless it's because it wasn't supposed to happen.  You were suppose to go home to your house. Not home to GOD and daddy. I wasn't expecting that to happen and it happened so fast. I miss you so much. ♡♡♡♡

Mom, yesterday was three months since you got your wings.  The days are going by so fast. I miss calling you and hearing your voice. I know you are with daddy and both of you are happy and pain free. Please continue to watch over us. I love and miss both of you so much.

When a loved one dies, they are not truly gone as long as someone remembers them.

When there's no one left who remembers, you know they're all together again ♡♡

Mom, today is the 1st I was able to say Happy Anniversary to you and daddy in 29 years. Today is 72 years that you and daddy got married and your finally able to celebrate together after all these years. I'm sure your dancing in the sky and daddy is holding you tight. I miss both of you so much but I'm happy that the two of you are happily together again. Both of you have waited so long. Neither of you are suffering any more and that is what matters the most. Your pain free. Missing and loving the two of you forever and ever.

Happy birthday Mom. I have wished you a happy birthday for approximately 65 years. It sure is strange not to be able to say it to your face or over the phone. Did you hear Nancy, Cindy and me wish you a happy birthday earlier today? It sure is strange not having you around but I know you are enjoying yourself with Dad. I wish I could talk to both of you. I hope you have seen Jim. If you do please tell him I love him too. I love you Mom tell Dad I love him also. There will be a time when we will all be together again. Stay happy enjoy your time with Dad and whoever else you have seen and keep talking to Cindy she misses you a lot. It's hard for her not to be able to talk to your face everyday like she used to. Some days I talk to you in the sky... because that's where you are now. Not a day goes by without me thinking of you.

Beautiful clouds, butterflies, dragonflies, the birds flying by or singing in the tree, all remind me of you every day. When they come by me I wonder which one is you. I have never had a dragonfly sit on my hand until the other day walking home.  It sat there all the way home and I thought it was you and wanted to put you on my flowers but you flew away, just as I got to my house. So maybe it wasn't you and this one was testing my courage for when you or daddy come around. Because in the past I was scared to death of them.  I hope the two of you come to visit soon.

Mom, I never realized how much your voice was a part of my soul, until I couldn't hear your voice any longer. My heart is so broken. I miss you so much. ♡

Happy Birthday mom. This is your 1st birthday without us and you would have been 89 today.  This is a really hard day. I know your happy because after 29 years your finally with daddy dancing in the sky on this day. Every year us kids would try to figure out what to get you for your birthday.  Now all we can do is remember you. Seventy one years  ago I was your birthday gift. For all these yrs, I would call you two days after mine, but this year there was silence.  I couldn't hear your voice. I still keep thinking this is all a dream. That when I come up in September you will be there. I still go to pick up the phone to call you, then remember I can't. So I sit and cry. When daddy passed you were our backbone. Always here to talk to. Always had a sharp memory.  Could answer most past and family history questions. Now your gone too so our only backbone is gone. All we have are the beautiful memories of the two backbone's that held our whole family together for over seventy years. Mom I know I'm the oldest and should be the strongest to hold the family together and I will try hard. I was told by hospice that daddy has always looked up to me. I hope both of you are proud of me. I don't want to ever let the two of you down. I'm glad you and daddy are back together, happy, no longer in pain, and dancing in the sky. I love and miss both of you soooo much. ♡♡

Happy Birthday Mammy ! Hope you are having fun with pappy and Jim and Doug . Miss you everyday. I was just thinking of going out for birthdays and then it hit me that you were not here anymore . That is what hurt the most .

Happy Birthday Grandmom, I hope you’re enjoying your day talking and walking with Grandpop. I am hoping to remember all the things we did together. I know it has been a long time since we did but they still hold a special place in my heart. I love you and miss you.

Mom, look how big and beautiful your cactus has grown since I brought it down here after your service in April.  It loves this warm weather down here. I had to transplant it once already. If you look close enough you can see the little lizard sitting in there. When it blooms I'll send you another picture.

This is the first blanket mom ever made me. It's when she just started to learn how to crochet and I believe it was back in the 70's. This was the only pattern she could do in the very beginning. So this blanket is over 30 years old. Over the years the things mom crocheted were so beautiful.  It was amazing how she could sit there  and watch TV or talk to you and never miss a stitch.  Im so glad both my daughters learned how to crochet and they both have some of moms patterns to continue moms legacy.

One of my greatest memories with grandmom is crocheting together. She taught me so much. I remember when I stayed with her, we were both working on blankets and she couldn’t believe how tight my stitching was. It made it very heavy and hot lol. I remember going camping with her and grandpop growing up.  When I lived with her, we went to the campsite every weekend and the best moments were when we could sit out by the fire at night just drinking some coffee or first thing in the morning. We would play bingo on Saturday night. We had some really good times. I will miss those days, but they are some really good memories.

When I saw this I thought of you, mom and dad. I miss both of you so much. I can't believe both my parents are gone and I no longer can talk to either of you. My heart is so broken. ♡♡

Mom loved going out on Dave's boat. But because she couldn't swim she wouldn't get off the boat. It didn't matter that she could tell the water wasn't deep and she could stand there. All she knew was she couldn't see what might be in that water since it wasn't clear. I believe this might have been the first time she saw a crab that big and that ugly. Which I'm sure confirmed her reasoning for never putting her feet in that water. LOL

I miss calling you and hearing your voice so much mom.

Mom, have a glass of wine with me. It's a sweet wine you will like it. Ask daddy to sit and have a beer with us. I love you both so much.

Mom, many many years ago I bought this cookbook from Gabelsville AA. We've used it so much the orange front cover fell off years ago. There are lots of recipes in here from you, mammy and all of your friends.  I've only shared two each in here. I will cherish this cookbook forever. Once Len and I have gone to Heaven one of my children will continue to use and cherish this cookbook and your memories.  I miss you so much mom.

I really miss you Mom miss talking to you I lost everything 6 years ago when my marriage ended the grandbabies went with him they used to be here all the time and you help me get through that big change now I have another big change in my life you not being here and I don't have you to talk to to help get me through it tonight I was at McDonald's and they goofed up my frappe they put whipped cream on it I said I'll take it home to Mom I started crying after he went in to make me my new one it's been a month I forgot it's in the freezer for you I love you

Hi mom, I am sorry I did not write anything sooner.  I have been very busy with big-girl sitting and getting everything needed for the estate.

When I took you to the ER that Friday, I was figuring they would be able to get the fluid out of your body, and you would come home but that is not what happened.

Weeks prior to that day, your heart began to beat slower than it should.  The doctors figured that the medicine was working too well so they stopped one of your meds and reduced another one, but your heart did not speed up the way they wanted it to.

All the time you were in the hospital, more and more fluid was building up inside you.  Your lungs had so much fluid inside and outside of them that you could not get enough air in them for them to push oxygenated air to the heart and since your heart was not beating fast enough it was not able to push oxygenated blood to your kidneys to make them work harder.  Everything started to shut down.

The doctors tried everything they could to get more air into your lungs, but you fought with everything all the way and the lungs did not get the air they needed.  After Nancy called dad to say that you needed help you seemed to not fight as much.  Was he there whispering to you to let go and come with him?

I hope he was there.  I hope he guided you to where you needed to go.  I hope you are finally truly happy again.  You are finally with dad.

I am so glad that I got to have you as a part of life for 68 years.  I got to talk to you. I got to take you places and I got to enjoy you.  I wish we all could have had that much time with dad. But now you are with dad and you two can be together forever.

It is not going to be the same at the family picnic going forward. I won’t know how to be there without you.  You took the place of dad for so many years.  You represented him with his family.  Now we need to try to take the place of you and dad.  It just will not be easy.

I love you and I miss you.
