

Born in Eshbach, PA. he was the last surviving son of the late Harvey and Olivia (Huff) Samsel.
Kenneth was a 1943 graduate of Boyertown High School. He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Kenneth was employed as a Draftsman for Bethlehem Steel in Pottstown and was a member of the American Legion.
He was also the Co-owner and Operator of Kassel & Samsel Hobby Shop in Pottstown for many years.
He had a passion for flipping homes and restoring them. Kenneth was a devoted husband and father and loved camping and boating with his family. He owned and operated a successful restaurant in Belmar, NJ.
Kenneth and his late wife Mary resided in Bonita Springs, Florida for many years.They had wonderful memories and visits with their family.
He is survived by his children, Glenn K. husband of Monica L. Samsel of Wellsville, PA., Judith Ann wife of Kenneth A. Chrusch of Longs, SC., Diane L. wife of Howard M. Schankweiler of Pottstown
and Joanne M. wife of Michael R. Irwin of Gilbertsville. He has 8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A donation in memory of Kenneth may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
