Leon F. “Jack” Adam, 78, formerly of Barto, PA, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born on May 20, 1946 in Barto, he was the beloved son of the late Dorothy (Eline) Kemp and Charles S. Adam, and stepfather Lawrence Kemp, who raised him as his own son. Jack was a lifelong resident of Barto prior to residing at the Buehrle Center at the Lutheran Home in Topton in 2022.
Jack worked at the Eastern Foundry for 41 years, retiring in 2006. He was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally. He was also a member of both the Goodwill Fire Company in Bally and Liberty Fire Company in New Berlinville.
Jack was a kind-hearted individual who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved watching TV and liked using his DVD player to enjoy classic shows and movies. A devoted fan of professional wrestling, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Phillies, Jack rarely missed a game or Monday night wrestling. He also loved going out to dinner and playing bingo. Above all, Jack found joy in spending time with family and friends; sharing stories, laughter, and cherished memories - a gift he gave freely to anyone who took the time to listen.
He is survived by three brothers, Charles W. Adam, husband of Kristen of Barto; Kenneth L. Kemp of Allentown; and James D. Adam of Hamburg. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jack will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew him.
