Mrs. Lillian F. (Gresh) Losh, age 99, passed away April 9 at Frederick Living, Frederick, PA. She was the widow of Earl J. Losh of Boyertown. Born in Little Oley in 1918, she was the daughter of Eva (Fegley) and Thomas B. Gresh.
Lillian was a 1937 graduate of Boyertown High School and enjoyed attending class reunions. She was a member of Trinity E.C. Church, Boyertown, and was active in the church much of her life. She had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 3487 of Boyertown, a past Noble Grand of the Rebecca Lodge of Boyertown, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Boyertown Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Company, and a charter and life member of the Boyertown Area Historical Society. She had been employed at Miller’s Ice Cream and Candy Store in Boyertown and by the Boyertown School District as a matron at Junior High West. She enjoyed cooking and baking, reading and gardening.
Lillian is survived by her daughter Sandra K., wife of Terry R. Mest, Boyertown; grandchildren Deborah A. (Sharp), wife of Clarence D. Kolb, Gilbertsville; Darvin L. Sharp, husband of Theresa, Reading; Linda K. (Mest), wife of Jonathan C. Famous, Boyertown; great grandchildren Briana A. (Sharp) Godin, Gilbertsville; Joshua J., Miranda K. and Lucas J. Famous, Boyertown; great-great grandchildren Jayden T. Weller and Xander X. Godin, Gilbertsville; son-in-law Kenneth L. , widower of Sue A. Sharp; sisters-in-law Esther (Shaner), widow of Leonard Gresh, and Lois (Miller), widow of Harold Gresh; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughter Sue A. (Losh) Sharp; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Gresh (infant), Franklin Gresh and wife Helen (Schealer), Thomas Gresh and wife Marie (Behm), Harold Gresh and Leonard Gresh, all of Boyertown; twin infant grandchildren; and great-great grandson Jayce M. Weller.
Services will be held at noon Tuesday, April 17 at Trinity E.C. Church, 250 Sweinhart Road, Boyertown.
Friends and Family may call Tuesday at church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
Private graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Boyertown.
