Mary Ann Baehr, 79, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home, with her son by her side on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Born on November 11, 1946, she was the daughter of late Samuel and Mary (Roberts) Radel.
Mary Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose greatest joy came from her family. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in being there for the people she loved.
Mary Ann was especially proud of her years driving a school bus. She loved the responsibility of the job and the contributions she made to the children she met every school year. She truly had a caring heart and found joy in helping others.
She was also a devoted dog mom to her beloved Oliver, who brought her endless companionship and happiness. In her free time, Mary Ann enjoyed trips to Atlantic City to visit the casinos and loved taking trips to the beach, where she could relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her generous heart, her love for her family, her caring nature, and the many memories she created with those she loved. Her family will forever cherish the time they shared with her and carry her memory in their hearts.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Joseph and Franny Baehr. She is also survived by her grandchildren; TJ, Nicole, Danielle, Lil Franny, Josh, Ashley, Michael, Brittany, and Stacy. Also surviving are her great grandchildren; Kiera, Tommy, Jaydon, Richie, Bella, Eric, Elle, Erion, Nevaeh, Kingston, Kylah, Haizle and Havyn. Mary Ann is also survived by her sisters, Debbie and Donna.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, Francis Baehr, her daughter Diane, and her sisters, Miriam and Jeanie.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on October 2, 2026 beginning at 11:00 at Limerick Garden of Memories Chapel, 44 East Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA, 19468. A prayer service will follow the visitation beginning a 12:00pm. Interment will also be at Limerick Garden of Memories.
