Born in Frederick Twp., she was a daughter of the late Ella E. (Gaugler) and Elmer W. Simmons.
Mildred was an excellent homemaker and a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Boyertown.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Ann (Simmons) Miller wife of the late Charles Miller of Boyertown. Mildred is also survived by her many nieces and nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her 3 children, Ralph E. Jr., Peggy Sue, and Sandra Lynn Sands and a sister, Doris (Simmons) Gresh.
Services will be held at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc. 111 North Reading Ave. Boyertown, Monday, July 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
