

Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Lamar H. Funk, Sr. and Helen M. (Allender) Funk.
Paul was a US Navy Veteran of WWII serving on the USS Bogue (ACV-9). At the age of 62, in 1988 he retired from W. S. Reichenbach & Son, Inc., Allentown where he was a specialist.
He was a member of the American Legion. He was a fantastic hobbyist who enjoyed creating scale models of homes, cars and sail boats.
Paul is survived by two sons, Terry P. Funk and his wife Bernice of Boca Raton, FL, Christopher H. Funk and his wife Colleen of Allentown; a daughter, Susan E., wife of Robert Roth of Allentown; four grandchildren, Sarah Roth, Jarrett Roth, Christopher R. Funk, II and Jonathan P. Funk. He was predeceased by a brother, Lamar A. Funk, Jr.
Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s /Dementia Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
