

He is predeceased by his wife Margaret (Noel) Stauffer, a brother and two sisters. Surviving are his three children, Andrew with wife Patricia Stauffer of Pennsburg, Christina Marks of Bally and Mary Ann wife of Arnold Slonaker of Hereford; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.
Raymond, who was a gentleman of many talents, was a lifetime fruit grower and Zern’s Market vendor. He was seasonally employed in the 40’s & 50’s by numerous businesses, such as Bally Case & Cooler, Mack Trucks, Spicers, Dana, Superior Tube, Doehlers and the East Greenville Foundry and also building a dozen homes, all while marketing his produce at market stands at Freese’s , Yellow House, Zern’s, Downingtown and Oxford. Raymond was an avid hunter who pursued his passion from Wyoming to Canada. He also enjoyed his hunting camp on Duck Harbor Pond. He was also a Charter member of Bally Sportsmen’s Association. He also was a member of the NRA and other local organizations. As well as a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally.
Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.
A viewing will be Tuesday between 10 – 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally.
