Rita H. Hartman, 95, of Bechtelsville. Widow of James C. Hartman. Passed away in the early morning of Thursday January 17, 2019 in the Manor Care at Pottstown.

Born in Bally she was a daughter of the late Sarah (Eck) and William Witman.

Rita was employed for over 23 years at the Great American Knitting Mills and the Bally Ribbon Mill.

She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church 610 Pine St. Bally; PA 19503.Rita was also a member of the children’s choir when she was young.

Rita is survived by her son John J. Hartman with whom she resided. Cousins, Linda Grill and Ben & JoAnn Eshelman. Along with her dear friends, John & Margie Barthel. She is predeceased by her son, Francis Hartman. Siblings, Mary Peters, Paul & Regina Witman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated the Most Blessed Sacrament Church on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM.

Family and friends may call at church on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM.

Interment will be in Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery.
