Mr. Frain is the reason I am still active in Boy Scouts, 36 years now.  He was solid in the values we all should have, Family, Faith and Community.

The thing I remember most about Mr Frain was his insistence that wherever we went camping, we always left the area in better condition than when we arrived. We would clean up any trash we found, maybe rehab a trail. Anything to make it better for the next person. That is what Mr Frain did his entire life. That is his legacy. He made the world a better place and left it in much better condition because of the man he was. Other than my father, no man has had a more positive influence on my life than my Scoutmaster. He was loved and he will be missed.

Pat, JoAnn, Bobby and all the extended Frain family -  my deepest sympathies on your loss - we all knew your Dad as a very dear person who gave a lot to his family and a lot to others around him.  He was one of the nicest people I've ever known.  Be thankful that you had him in your life for 91 years.  I am sorry I couldn't get to the service today, but my thoughts and prayers have been with all of you.

Bob, Todd, Joel, Pat, JoAnn and all of your families,

I had the honor of knowing your Dad or Grand Dad for a very long time.  He always greeted everyone with a smile.  He was the captain of my usher team for over 20 years @ St. John's and I usually sat at the same table with him at the many Boy Scout dinners that we attended.  I always enjoyed talking with him about his WWII navy experiences and see many of his fine traits in all of you.  He was a true gentleman who will be sorely missed.  My sincere sympathies go out to all of you.

Few men ever ascend to the level of this fine man in God's higher calling to "sacrifice and give of ones self to others". Bob Frain touched the lives of so many of us as young men growing up in in the Boyertown area.  The good scout qualities he fostered within us have left a positive mark on our own lifetime's, and, hopefully, will be passed on to the generations that follow. Our prayers go out to his family for God's blessing and comfort at this difficult time.

It has been a long time since we all got together - I can remember visiting your place many years ago and your family coming to our place years ago.  Time goes by so fast. Bob Frain was always so kind to everyone, and always greeted people with a smile. My students loved his WWII stories when he visited the high school on Veteran's Day. RIP Mr. Frain.

A final salute to a man who has brought so many young men into manhood.  Mr. Frain, your impact on Boyertown and the greater area lives on in the lives of so many that have been touched by your dedication to Boy Scouting.  Wish I could be there to see the Great Master bestow the highest award of all unto you.
