

Sherwood Henry Hallman II, age 82, of Boyertown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was the loving husband of Patricia Hallman. Sherwood was the son of the late Sherwood H. and Virginia (Geunes-Reinbold) Hallman.
Sherwood was proud of his father who had fought and died in World War II and was a Medal of Honor recipient for his heroic actions. One of Sherwood’s treasured memories was traveling to France with his wife and mother for the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994. It was then that he was finally able to visit his father’s grave.
Sherwood was employed by Bally Case & Cooler for 31 years. He also worked for Peerless Boilers for several years before retirement. Sherwood was an avid stamp and coin collector, as well as a long time softball umpire.
Along with his wife, Sherwood is survived by his children: Sherwood Hallman III, Mark (and Liliana) Hallman; Keith (and Debra) Hallman and Nicole (and Timon) Derr, step-children: Kathleen Dolan and Jill Breidenbach; grandchildren: Cooper and Kassidy Hallman, Garrett and Sydney Derr.
Friends and family are invited to call between 10 and 11 AM on May 2, 2025 at St. Luke Lutheran Church Gilbertsville. A memorial service will immediately follow also at the church.
