Shirley M. Clark Emes

Shirley M. Emes, 76, of West Philadelphia Avenue, Boyertown passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Her husband Calvin F. Emes whom she shared 59 years of marriage died on May 4, 2011 . Born in Yellow House February 4, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Betty (Ehst) Clark. She is survived by two sons, Michael Emes of Spring Mount and Gary Emes parner of Goordon Weiss of Blandon; a daughter, Deborah Emes of Boyertown; a brother, Robert and his wife Bernice Clark of Engelsville; three sisters, Helen, wife of Kee Kline of Gilbetsville, Phyllis Mest of Georgia and Joanne Kose of Deer Lake, Schuylkill County; two grandchildren, Stacy, wife of Gramt Smith of Boyertown and Jonathan Emes of Spring Mount; three great-grandchildren, Gavin and Addison Smith both of Boyertown and Cameron Emes of Spring Mount.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 45 North Reaidng Avenue, Boyertown. Sister Millicent J. Drake will officiate.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Boyertown Ambulance Association, 2 East Second Strreet, Boyertown, PA 19512
