Shirley A. (Woodley) Lorah - Weller, 87, of Bechtelsville, PA, widow of Carl R. Weller, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026. Born in Pottstown on January 31, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Clarence A., and Mary Ethel Woodley.
Shirley retired from C&D Batteries and Suburban Water Technology. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Church of Christ and Friendship Hook and Ladder Ladies Auxiliary. Shirley enjoyed cooking and baking, bingo, bus trips with friends, and 15 years as a Red Hat Society member. But most of all she cherished her family, her grandchildren, and her great grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Y. Carl, wife of Ernest, along with her son Thomas I. Lorah, husband of Jill Herb. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Lorah, Brandi Lorah, Brandon Kemp, and her great grandchildren, Nicole and Jayden Lorah, Anastasia Lorah (Schnooker), and Brooks and Makenna Kemp. Also surviving Shirley are many nieces and nephews.
In addition to to her husband, Shirley was predeceased by her 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, 111 N. Reading Avenue, Boyertown PA, 19512. A funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am. Burial will be held privately.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jessica Minford (Caregiver) for all of the care she gave Shirley during her many years of life.
