Stamatios Stratis

Born in Halkida Evoia, Greece he was the son of the late Evgenia (Kosta) and Stavros Stratis.

Stamatios served in the Greek Navy. He had worked as a third engineer on International Cargo and last worked for the former Joseph Corey Delivery Service in Elizabeth, NJ. He was a member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, Jeffersonville,

Surviving with his wife of 36 years (married November 10, 1974) is a daughter,

Eugenia Stratis-Garza wife of Ron Garza of East Coventry and a son Stavros Stratis at home; a grandson, Stamatis Garza of East Coventry; a sister, Eleni Kourbate of Halkida, Greece and a brother Peter Stratis of Florida.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 900 South Trooper Road, Jeffersonville, PA. Reverend Father Peter Thomberg will officiate.

Entombment will be in Limerick Garden of Memories, Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Limerick.

Arrangements are being handled by the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.
