Virginia Bennett McKinstry

Born in Hatboro, PA, she was the last surviving child of Elizabeth A. (Morris) and Levin E. Bennett.

Virginia in her younger years was a National Honor Society member, Cheerleader, Glee club member, Homeroom Secretary, and was on the Yearbook staff and intramural teams. She graduated in 1949 from Hatboro High School. Afterwards she was a Proofreader for her uncle's newspaper and a homemaker. She was also a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.

She enjoyed playing the piano, attending her daughter's and grandchildren's concerts, sailing on their sailboat with family and friends, and all their rescued pets over the years.

She is a member St. Andrew United Methodist Church, Bechtelsville, PA.

She is survived by her daughter, Eileen P., wife of David K. Hoffman of Barto. Grandchildren, Shaun D., husband of Kelly C. Hoffman of West Bloomfield, MI, Lauren E., wife of Thomas J. Koenig of Titusville, NJ. Great Grandchildren, Brynn C. Hoffman, Kady E. Hoffman, Gemma L. Koenig and Emil J. Koenig all at home. She is predeceased by her son, Wayne M. McKinstry, and siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Neely and Henry "Morris" Bennett.

Anyone wishing to make donations in Ginny's honor can donate to St. Andrew United Methodist Church or the animal shelter of their choice.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Andrews United Methodist Church 611 Swamp Creek Rd. Bechtelsville, PA. On Wednesday July 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM.

Family and friends may call Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
