Wilda G. Mathias

The daughter of the late Meda (Weller) and Chester Renninger. She was predeceased by a brother, Linfred Renninger, a sister in law Grace Moser, brother in laws, Robert, Leroy and Lawrence Mathias.

Surviving with her husband Paul of 68 years are her children, Daughter Paula A. wife of Michael R. Yeager and a son Randy L. Husband of Maryann L. Mathias. She is also survived by a brother Robert husband of Dolly Renninger and a sister Elsie Boerner and sister in laws Ellen Renninger, Dorothy Schoenly and Virginia Angstadt. Grandchildren Dustin Yeager, Thomas Wade, Randy Mathias Jr. Great Grandchildren, Andrew, Brielle, Landon, Tanner, Conner, Harlow, Fiona, Gunner and Carli.

Wilda leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was a graduate of Boyertown High School class of 1953. Wilda was employed by Farmers Bank as a trust officer, at Swann Oil as an office manager and at the Zieglersville Post Office as a counter clerk.

Wilda's passion was ceramics. She shared her love of this art in her home by many people. She also shared this art as an activities director at the Frederick Mennonite Home.

She was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sassamansville. She loved being part of the Red Hat Society and was a huge Phillies fan.

Wilda had a huge heart. She showed compassion for everyone.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1809 Hoffmansville Rd, Sassmansville, PA 19477) on May 15, 2025, at 11 am. A Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 am to 11 am at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Wilda's name to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sassamansville.
