William R. Schaeffer

Born in Shanesville, PA he was the son of the late Hannah (Dierolf) and Oscar Schaeffer.

He was the owner/operator of the William R. Schaeffer Tinsmith, Boyertown. William was a life member of the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Company, Boyertown. He was a Nascar Fan especially a Kyle Petty fan. He was also one time a member of Freddy “the Kutztown Komet” Adam’s, pit crew.

He is survived by a daughter Cynthia Ferguson of Schwenksville; a son Gary, husband of Linda Schaeffer of Boyertown; a sister Margaret, husband of Carl Hiryak of Gilbertsville; two grandchildren Joshua, husband of Tiffany Stoudt and Jessica, wife of Jared Houck; four great-grandchildren, Connor and Madison Houck, and Logan and Camden Stoudt.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2013 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown.

Relatives and friends may call Thursday, between 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Boyertown.
