To the Stitt Family, 
I just learned of Mr. Stitt's passing. He was a great family man and a faithful Christian. Having become friends with Diane as a teenager, I have wonderful memories of time spent at their home, roasting hot dogs in the backyard, is just one. Those memories will last forever. Wilmer was a good friend of mine. He is being missed very much. He taught me to honor God. I've known him for 47 years he gave me wisdom. 9yrs ago my mom died and he took me under his wing and taught me to honor God. He got me into Joel Osteen, he is one of the good guys. He taught his family to honor God, I feel like I could not do enough for him. May God Bless the Stitt Family always and Thank You for being in my life. My dad to meet him you would know him forever unforgettable for many reasons 
He cared for you, wanted to meet any needs you may have, and you could tell what his priorities were if you were with  him a little wile they were love of god ,wife, children, and anybody he met, not a fake saying    I love you    witch you would never hear from him  but a felt love you would feel 
Dad was the best at putting his all in every thing he did and taught all us children to do the same

He wandered ,and asked me why god had him hang around disabled on his back in bed for so long.  The answer was he had a mission to teach my wife Brenda Lee the importance of every word in the bible and she will never forget John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son  that whosoever   believeth in him shall not perish but  have everlasting life  http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/John-3-16/ This is what his final mission was than God took him into his loving arms and said well done my good and faithful servant.

Wilmer was and still is my first cousin.   My father was his uncle and they were just two years apart. They were more like brothers growing up together in Henrietta,Pa. He will never be forgot and holds dear to the Shuman side of the family. Our heart felt condolences to Miriam and the whole Stitt family. You can never take away the memories and they always turned out to be good with wilmer and Miriam.

I will always remember our family picnics and the good times playing volleyball. I will remember Uncle Wilmer coming into Wendy's flowers and getting a corsage for Aunt Miriam for Christmas.
