Alex was the beloved son of Jack and Peggi Mercer and a loving brother to Eric (Danah) and Lauren. A graduate of North Penn High School, Alex will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, kind heart, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Alex had a passion for motorcycles, fishing, gaming, and snowboarding. He loved the freedom of riding, the peacefulness of being on the water, the excitement of gaming, and the thrill of being on the slopes. These interests reflected his love of adventure and his ability to find happiness in the things he enjoyed most.
Alex will be deeply missed by his parents, Jack and Peggi; his brother, Eric (Danah); his sister, Lauren; and all of his extended family and friends who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered always for the life he lived, the adventures he shared, and the love he gave to his family and friends.
A service celebrating Alex’s life will be held September 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm, at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Lakewood Ranch, Florida 34211.
