Art "Skip" Katzmann, III

Arthur "Skip" Katzmann, III, age 80, of Bradenton, Florida passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023. Skip was born in Salem, Oregon 1943 to Helen Kuehne Katzmann (deceased) and Arthur H. Katzmann, Jr (deceased).

Skip attended Oak Lawn High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois and then onto Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.

Skip was a proud Life Member of Sertoma International and joined with the POW-R Sertoma-ALSIP, which enriched people’s lives in the greater Illinois area. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, reading, jigsaw puzzles, walking and playing ball with his Papillon Dog, Kayla who misses him every day.

Arthur is predeceased by his parents; Arthur H. Katzmann, Jr and Helen Kuehne Katzmann, and brothers Richard Katzmann and James Katzmann.

He is survived by his wife Deborah (Nee-Woody), Sons Arthur H. IV (Dina) and Paul (Christine), grandchildren, Allison Gaides, Arthur H. Katzmann V, Katherine Katzmann Johnson, and Mikaela Katzmann, his sister Anne Scholtt, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, Nov. 11th at 2:00pm with a reception to follow at Robert Toale and Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211.
