Carole Montgomery Paolino

Carole Montgomery Paolino, lovingly known as "CeeCee," passed away on July 14, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida at the age of 85. She was born on March 1, 1941 in Montgomery, Alabama. Carole was predeceased by her parents Oliver Ritchie Montgomery and Bess McWhorter Montgomery. She is survived by her husband Michael, three sons: Patrick (Candice), Kevin (Christina), John (Nicole), nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Carole grew up in Anniston, Alabama. She attended grammar school, secondary school and two years of high school before continuing her studies in Gulf Park College in Gulfport, Mississippi where she was awarded an Associate Degree.

Her professional journey led her to American Airlines as a stewardess/hostess. It was during her training in Dallas, Texas, that she met the love of her life, Michael Paolino. They were married on December 2, 1961 in Anniston, Alabama.

For the first 28 years of her married life Carole was a devoted and loving military spouse who embraced the challenges and joys of military life with unwavering strength and commitment. During extended periods when her husband was away serving their country, she took on the roles of both mother and father to their children with love and determination. Her deep connection to her family shaped many aspects of her life.

Carole’s hobbies and interests reflected her devotion to her family, especially to her children. She was a loving mother who enthusiastically participated in the growth and maturity of her children. As an active supporter of her children's activities, she became an avid skier and sports enthusiast.

Her experience as a military wife continued at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Her warm personality and radiant smile also led to a unique role as one of the first tour guides at West Point. On numerous occasions she was requested by name to conduct tours. She further demonstrated her dedication to service by becoming an active member of the West Point Red Cross Auxiliary, where she also served as Chairperson.

Her love and support of her husband extended to a career as an active participant in the civilian academic environment where she hosted numerous social activities in support of her husband's role as a high-level academic official.

Carole was admired for her charm, dignity, and friendly nature. Her generosity extended beyond her immediate circle; she was supportive of many charitable organizations and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Those who knew Carole cherished her encouragement, support, and wise counsel. She was a source of strength and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carole’s family adored her deeply and reflected on the immense love she gave them throughout her life. Her memory will forever be treasured by those whose lives she touched.

May Carole Montgomery Paolino’s legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire all who remember her. A Funeral Mass will be held on August 31, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Church 12905 SR 70 E., Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Carole's memory to Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church.
