David J. Beirau

David J. Beirau, 42, of Bradenton, FL, passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2026, leaving his family and friends deeply shocked and heartbroken. He was born on July 17, 1984, in Barrington, IL to parents Kimberlee Farley and David Beirau.

David grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, but as anyone who knew him will tell you, he hated the cold more than anything and longed to move south as soon as he could. After graduating high school early, he settled in Sarasota, Florida, and graduated from the University of South Florida. It was there, beneath the Sarasota sunsets, that he fell in love with Jennifer.

The two were married on October 23, 2010, and began a beautiful life, welcoming their son, Chase, and daughter, Charlie. He was a loving and supportive husband and a profoundly devoted father. His children were his whole world, and his greatest joy in life was simply being “Daddy.”

As a lover of sports and avid golfer, he spent his free time golfing with friends or family, organizing fantasy football leagues, travelling to NASCAR races, and hosting football Sunday parties, complete with 3 TVs. He was fiercely competitive and famously (almost) never lost at anything.

He took pride in his career as an accountant, working for the Sarasota County Clerk’s Office and becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner before moving on to serve as Director of Internal Audit at Beall’s Sarasota. He also enjoyed using his talent to help others including serving as President of his community’s HOA board.

David’s love and generosity extended far beyond his immediate family. He was the kind of friend who became family. He loved deeply and made the lives of the people around him better simply by being part of them. His life was cut far too short, but the love he gave and the memories he created will last a lifetime.

David is preceded in death by his stepfather Thomas Farley and grandfather Larry Macheroux.

David is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 16 years, Jennifer; his children, Chase and Charlie; parents Kimberlee Farley and David (Gayle) Beirau; sister Dana Wright; brothers Tom (Julianna) and Dan Beirau; grandmother Mary Macheroux; and the many family members and friends who were fortunate enough to love him and call him their own.

A celebration of life for David will be held on Saturday September 5th from 2-4pm at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211.

In honor of David’s love of the Chicago Bears and the game of golf, the family invites everyone to skip the black and wear your favorite football jersey/shirt or golf shirt instead.
