Elisa Piercynski

Elisa Piercynski (Pesapane), 82 of Lakewood Ranch, Florida, passed away March 29, 2026. She was born July 20, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York. After high school, Elisa worked at Equitable Insurance Company and Martin Segal in Manhattan. Later in life, she was a reading aide at Mt. Sinai Elementary School, where she loved working with children. Elisa and her husband, Richard, met when they were teenagers, and they married on May 11, 1963.

Elisa was predeceased by her parents, Vincent and Blanche Pesapane, and sister, Laraine Leone. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard; two daughters, Lynn Stagg (Greg) and Kristin Brown (Thomas); one nephew, Richard Robertson (Kelly); seven grandchildren, Victoria Meyer (Jacob), Katherine, Tommy, Vincent, Erin, James and Kiera; and one great-granddaughter, Penelope.

Elisa had wonderful friends throughout her life whom she cherished. She enjoyed traveling, reading, doing puzzles, and going on family vacations to the beach and Disney World. But most of all, Elisa's greatest enjoyment was anything that involved her grandchildren. She loved attending their sporting events, dance recitals, and everything else that meant spending time with them. They were everything to her.
