Gail Orzechowski (née Feit), 77, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on June 30, 1948, in Baltimore, Maryland, Gail lived a vibrant and fulfilling life dedicated to her family, friends, career, and passions.
Gail was the beloved daughter of Lillian (Zimmerman) and Hyman Feit and grew up alongside her brother Murray Feit, Anita Harrison (Feit) and Linda Mullen (Feit). She carried the values instilled by her family throughout her life, cherishing the importance of love, education, and community.
A trailblazer in her professional life, Gail was the owner of Allied Imaging, Inc., where she made significant contributions to the field of imaging technology. Later in her career, she worked with Canon Industries in veterinary imaging sales until her retirement in 2015. Her dedication and expertise left a lasting impact on those she worked with.
Gail’s personal life was equally rich and meaningful. She shared a deep and enduring love with her late husband and soulmate, Joseph "Joe" Orzechowski. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter until his passing. Despite this profound loss, Gail remained active in her community and surrounded herself with friends who cherished her company.
Family was at the heart of Gail’s world. She is survived by her devoted daughter Marnie Hauser (Stern), son-in-law Mark Hauser, and twin granddaughters Michaela and Morgan Hauser. Gail adored spending time with Michaela and Morgan, watching them excel in their respective sports and sharing her wisdom with them. She took great pride in teaching them about life’s wonders while soaking up knowledge herself.
An avid traveler, one of Gail’s most cherished experiences was visiting Israel—a trip that held deep significance for her as a woman of Jewish faith. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the world while also finding joy closer to home through hobbies such as playing mahjong with friends, baking delicious treats, crafting intricate cross-stitch designs or glasswork projects, decorating her home with creativity, raising orchids, and volunteering at the Ringling Museum.
Gail’s love for animals reflected her compassionate nature, especially to her dogs Dexter and Dali. Known for never being shy about storytelling, sharing her opinions or lending a comforting ear when needed most, Gail had an innate ability to educate those around her while continuing to learn herself—a quality admired by all who knew her.
Her presence was immense; she brought light into every room she entered. Though predeceased by her husband Joe as well as her parents Lillian and Hyman Feit and brother Murray Feit—her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched, her daughter and granddaughters.
May Gail’s memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is reunited with Joe while leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure forever.
In honor of Gail’s remarkable life filled with passion for learning new things alongside unwavering devotion toward family & friends alike – may we celebrate this extraordinary woman whose impact remains immeasurable.
